The challenge
Where they started
The Diocese of Lichfield is one of the largest in the country — serving a population of over two million across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, much of Shropshire and the Black Country, coordinated from the diocesan office at St Mary's House, The Close, Lichfield.
A network that broad needs print that works everywhere — from the head office and parish churches to many of its schools — each with very different budgets, volumes and requirements.
What we did
The A-Stat solution
As their recommended print supplier, we tailor the device to the site rather than forcing one standard on everyone. Busy offices and schools get brand-new Toshiba e-STUDIO multifunction devices; lower-volume sites are matched with professionally reconditioned Kyocera hardware, rebuilt in-house and backed by the same service agreement.
Using new where it pays and reconditioned where it makes sense lets us keep the diocese efficient and stretch every budget further — exactly the flexibility a charitable organisation needs.
Every site, whatever the hardware, gets the same A-Stat support: local engineers, proactive toner and a single accountable partner.
The outcome
The results
- ✓A right-sized, cost-conscious estate spanning the head office, churches and many of the diocese's schools.
- ✓New and reconditioned hardware blended to match each site's budget and volume.
- ✓Almost twenty years of continuous partnership — a track record that speaks to our reliability.
- ✓Trusted enough to remain their recommended supplier across a large and varied estate.
“Almost two decades as a recommended supplier doesn't happen by accident — it's earned site by site, year after year.”
